San Jose TOEFL Prep Course

For the past six years, our San Jose TOEFL instructor has been teaching at English language schools. She has worked with students from over 60 countries. This has included strengthening their English skills to prepare them for university entrance exams and university courses. She has taught beginning to advanced levels of English proficiency classes, including reading, writing, structure, speaking, listening, pronunciation, idioms, vocabulary, and TOEFL preparation. Specifically, she taught 6-week classes for TOEFL reading, TOEFL listening, and TOEFL grammar for the paper-based TOEFL. In addition, she conducted private tutoring lessons for the TOEFL iBT and led a weekly TOEFL reading club. The writing classes that she currently teaches include in-depth instruction on how to write various types of academic essays, such as argumentative, compare/contrast, and problem solving. San Jose TOEFL instructor holds a Masters Degree in TESOL (Teachers of English to Speakers of Other Languages) from San Jose State University.

I exceeded my initial goal (90) to get a 100 on the TOEFL. All topics and material were well-covered. I would rate Sunny in each area as follows: Clarity: 5 (excellent); Speaking Volume: 5 (excellent); TOEFL Teaching Ability: 4; Preparedness: 4; Knowledge of Subject: 4.
