Our Atlanta ACT instructor's professional history firmly roots him inside the classroom, where he has received his Master’s in Education and his Bachelor’s in Applied Mathematics and has been dedicated to helping students learn difficult mathematical concepts for the past 20 years. He has taught some of Atlanta’s highest profile clients. He also worked as Academic Dean and professor at the DeVry Institute of Technology for 10 years. He specializes in standardized test math preparation and we are proud to have him as part of our team.
Our Baltimore ACT instructor holds a Master’s and a PhD degree in Philosophy from Johns Hopkins University, and a Liberal Arts Bachelor’s degree from St. John’s College, Annapolis, MD. Her teaching experience includes a position as a high school mathematics and Latin teacher at a private school, classroom teaching and private tutoring in ACT test preparation, and working as a Teaching Assistant while working on her PhD at Johns Hopkins. She prides herself on being able to reach students of all abilities and levels of comfort with standardized tests by delivering information clearly and concisely.
Our Charlotte ACT instructor was a former school teacher (NYC), adjunct professor (Columbia Univ Graduate School, University of South Carolina MIBs program), and currently college admissions test counselor. After selling his company in 2002, he began tutoring because of his love of teaching and desire to help students get into their schools of choice. In classrooms, personally and via Skype, over the past 15 years he has tutored hundreds of students focusing primarily on GMAT, GRE, LSAT, SAT, & ACT tests with an excellent success record due to his unique teaching methods and approach to learning. He has studied and amassed a library of over 10,000 test questions and uses this knowledge to tailor his tutoring. Our Columbus ACT instructor, a thirteen-year veteran of the test prep industry, has worked for several premiere organizations during her career. She tutors for various test subjects including the ACT. Her standardized test knowledge and approaches are proven, as she herself has achieved 99th percentile scores on the actual ACT exam. And her wealth of teaching experience has honed her ability to tailor her style to meet the individual needs of each student. She is a graduate of the Ohio State University. She previously worked in the real estate, restaurant, and healthcare industries doing analysis, marketing, and communications before leaving the corporate world to make test prep teaching and tutoring her primary focus. In her free time, our Columbus ACT instructor is an avid cyclist who also enjoys hiking, camping, and collecting stamps in her National Parks Passport.
Our Dallas ACT instructor earned her BA in English and Creative Writing from Southern Methodist University in Dallas, TX and MA in ESL Education from Northcentral University in Arizona. She also studied English at Victoria University where she earned a BA Honors Degree in English and she attended Emerson College as a Creative Writing graduate student. She has taught both group classes and one-on-one tutoring on various subjects.
Our Denver ACT instructor has nearly 10 years of experience as a public school math, language arts, and social studies teacher. He earned his B.A. in History and Literature at Williams College and earned a Master's in Education at Northwestern University. He speaks Spanish, is an avid skier, tennis players, world traveler and loves working with people with international backgrounds
Our Hartford ACT instructor has been tutoring students since 2010. He earned his BS in Civil Engineering and his BA in Mathematics from the Central Connecticut State University. Our Louisville ACT instructor studied Astrophysics and Aerospace Engineering and tutors for the ACT, the SAT, and college level math and physics courses in her spare time.
