As a Magna cum laude Biological Sciences graduate from Cornell University, our MCAT instructor has an exceptional and comprehensive understanding of MCAT content. His mastery of the material enables him to explain the various components of the MCAT in an intelligible and logical manner that promotes better retention than student attempts at rote memorization. He has also tutored, lectured, and served as an advisor in various capacities while at Cornell. In one of his most challenging assignments, he had to lead weekly biological content review sections for a course that combined public health and microbiology. Because of the broad and diverse makeup of the course, he would have to ensure his content review sections were appropriate to both seniors, well versed in microbiology, as well as freshman just entering the Biological Sciences major. The experience taught our MCAT instructor to appreciate the various needs of students and gave him a greater sensitivity and awareness of the language he uses to explain different concepts. Our MCAT instructor's MCAT score of 38 is a product of an individualized study plan that he designed for himself. His success in designing this study regimen for his busy schedule reflects both his discipline and competency in the course material, as well as his ability to tailor a study regimen for even the most demanding schedules.
